Combining elements of Nature with Interior Design
Born and raised in rural Illinois. The things that inspired me as a child still do today! Wide open spaces, fields of grain, change of seasons, travel, experiences, education, and my mom! In the 1960′s we were the only house in town with a red front door!
It was with this inspiration that I chose the name “Biophilic Interiors” which means
“Decorating with elements of nature has a positive impact
on how your home affects you emotionally.”
Since beginning Biophilic Interiors in May 2009, I have continued my interior design training by attending various product and vendor seminars including Hunter Douglas. My mentor, Dawn Driskill, continues to share over 25 years of personal design experience during this process of growing my business!
Current member of P.E.O. An international organization devoted to charitable projects and to the support and promotion of educational opportunities for women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans and stewardship of Cottey College. Motivating women to achieve their highest aspirations!
AS degree in Interior Design from Las Positas College in the Fall of 2011!
I firmly believe that being the best both on a personal and a professional level, continued education and training is for a lifetime!
